Those of you who have been around for awhile know that I used to lease 100 acres that I loved. After I left I was worried that it would turn into a housing development or something god awful like that. Thankfully that is not the case.
A church has leased the property. It is now a communtity park, complete with picnic area (in the exact place I had planned to put one) and swings and 4 wheeler trails. Also hunting is prohibited so that the abundant wildlife can remain abundant.
It was a happy day for me when I drove up that hill yesterday. The house has been razed and there is no sign of it, but that's alright. It wasn't much of a house anyway.
